Our Medical Home launches on the Gold Coast
Our Medical Home Gold Coast is the new name for the medical centre formerly named Gold Coast GP Super Clinic in Oxenford, Queensland.
From today, Our Medical Home Gold Coast is the new name for the medical centre formerly named Gold Coast GP Super Clinic in Oxenford, Queensland.
Our Medical Home Gold Coast is a modern medical centre offering all essential healthcare services to the local community including bulk billing GPs, pharmacy, pathology, x-ray, physio, psychology and allied health services.
Our Medical Home Gold Coast joins a group of four other medical centres which operate under the Our Medical Home brand, the geographically closest being Our Medical Home Loganholme. All five medical centres are operated by Cornerstone Health Pty Ltd.
Our Medical Home Gold Coast is open until 10pm every day of the year, and patients can see a GP without the need for an appointment. Patients can simply come in to see the next available or their preferred doctor.
A regular patient of the medical centre, Anne Harrison, said of the health service provided, "It’s brilliant being able to see a doctor, get blood tests and x-rays or visit the pharmacy, all at once. The walk-in service also means that I can also go in at a time that suits me.”
As part of the re-brand Our Medical Home Gold Coast is also promoting bulk-billed skin checks and treatments, which can be performed on-site in its dedicated treatment room. Locals are encouraged to visit one of the team of 20 bulk billing GPs if they are overdue for a skin check or have a mole or lesion that is of concern.
