At Cornerstone Health, we have highly experienced healthcare executives who have committed their professional lives to primary healthcare, and the role it plays in the health of all Australians. We are not another consortium of investors looking to make a quick buck (we’ve seen many of them come and go).

Our leadership team have been entrenched in primary healthcare for their entire careers.

Henry Bateman

CEO & Managing Director

Henry is the founder of Cornerstone Health and has over 20 years’ experience in the Australian healthcare sector, including 8 years’ as Director and CEO of the Medical Centre division of an ASX Top 100 healthcare company. Henry has overseen the substantial growth of Cornerstone Health, since its establishment in 2016, which now operates 14 large-scale multidisciplinary medical centres as well as a telehealth service provider. Henry initially practiced as a property and construction lawyer for several years prior to embarking upon his healthcare career.

Oliver Young

Chief Financial Officer

Oliver is a senior executive with extensive financial and commercial experience. He has deep healthcare expertise, developed through holding multiple management and strategic positions at an ASX Top 100 Australian healthcare provider, prior to joining Cornerstone Health in 2017. Oliver is a Chartered Accountant and also previously worked as an investment banker advising on M&A transactions.

Michael Cullen

Chief Business Development Officer

Michael is an experienced Chief Operating Officer & Business Development Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the Medical Centres division of an ASX Top 100 Australian healthcare provider. Skilled in Healthcare Management, Clinical Research and Medical Education, he now leads acquisition and retention of healthcare professionals at Cornerstone Health.

Katie White

Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer

Katie is passionate about driving innovation in healthcare that improves patient experience and supports business growth. With over 20+ years' experience in technology and healthcare sectors, Katie has led digital engagement strategy at an AXS-listed fertility services group. At Cornerstone Health, her remit is brand strategy, digital patient engagement and patient growth for the medical centres, dental clinics and telehealth services.

Jeremy Bierer

Chief Property Officer

Jeremy is a seasoned professional committed to driving the success of capital projects in diverse property development sectors, including Health and Aged-Care. Serving as the Chief Property Officer at Cornerstone Health, he spearheads initiatives from new facility management to site enhancements, preventive maintenance, and comprehensive facility oversight of Our Medical centres.

Ian Streeter

Legal Counsel

Ian is a senior property and commercial lawyer, with experience gained both in-house, and in top-tier and boutique law firms, over more than three decades. Ian was senior legal counsel at an ASX200 health provider, where he led a team responsible for the legal aspects of the business’ property and commercial transactions. Prior to that, Ian was a partner at a boutique law firm, and ran the firm’s property and commercial law practice.

Steven Malacco

Head of IT

Steven has over 35 years’ IT experience across banking and health sectors, delivering and managing client facing technology solutions. As Head of IT at Cornerstone Health, Steven is responsible for technology and digital solutions aimed at improving the experience of clinicians and patient’s while seeking to drive innovation and operational outcomes across the organisation.

Sarah Bulmer

General Manager, Medical Centres

Sarah has a wealth of experience fostering operational excellence. In her role with Cornerstone Health, Sarah oversees the management of Our Medical centres ensuring seamless delivery of services across all facets of operations. With a focus on enhancing efficiency and quality, Sarah drives initiatives that elevates standards of care and is dedicated to advancing healthcare excellence.
