The opening of Our Medical Oakleigh marks Our Medical's 16th medical centre nationally and further expands Cornerstone Health's healthcare network across Victoria. Located at 35 Hanover Street, Oakleigh, the new centre is helping meet growing demand for accessible healthcare services in Melbourne's south-east. The brand-new, purpose-built medical centre is open 365 days a year until 10pm and offers bulk-billed GP consultations with no appointment required, making it easier for local residents to access care during evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Designed as a comprehensive healthcare hub, Our Medical Oakleigh provides onsite bulk-billed radiology and bulk-billed pathology services, alongside fully equipped treatment facilities. The centre can also assist with a range of minor accidents and injuries, helping patients access timely care closer to home for conditions that can be safely managed in a primary care setting. Additional services, including physiotherapy, dental and other allied health offerings, will commence soon.

Henry Bateman, CEO and Managing Director of Cornerstone Health, said:

"The opening of Our Medical Oakleigh, our 16th medical centre nationally, reflects Cornerstone Health's commitment to improving access to quality healthcare in growing communities. We're proud to invest in Melbourne's south-east and provide local residents with greater access to primary healthcare when and where they need it."

The centre's clinical team includes Dr Shahed Alam, Dr Pablo Chakma, Dr Sherine Fernando, Dr Paul Hancock, Dr Jude Mendis, Dr Feri Ravanbakhsh and Dr Tom Sivapalan. Reflecting Oakleigh's diverse community, the centre's GPs speak a range of languages including Bengali, Hindi, Sinhalese, Chakma, Persian, Tamil and Khmer, helping patients feel comfortable accessing healthcare in their preferred language.

"Oakleigh is a vibrant and multicultural community, and we're proud to provide healthcare that is accessible, affordable and responsive to the needs of local patients and families."

"With a diverse team of doctors, extended opening hours and fully bulk-billed consultations, we look forward to supporting the health and wellbeing of the community and building lasting relationships with our patients."
