Our Medical Ashmore increases access to primary healthcare on the Gold Coast

Cornerstone Health's second location on the Gold Coast, Our Medical Ashmore has opened today with the promise of exceptional healthcare for all.

Situated opposite Ashmore City Shopping Centre, the new medical centre is in a prominent position at the intersection of Olsen Avenue and Southport Nerang Road. The first-class medical centre is open to 10pm every day of the year, providing comprehensive services for end-to-end care. In addition to bulk billing GPs, Our Medical Ashmore has co-located pathology, a treatment room and physiotherapy, with a dietitian and psychologist services available next month. Our Medical Dental and Our Medical Radiology will also be opening soon.

Henry Bateman, Cornerstone Health’s CEO and Managing Director commented on the opening of its tenth medical centre,

“We are excited to be opening our second medical centre on the Gold Coast. We have a diverse range of doctors joining us on opening day and see this new centre as an opportunity to provide additional services to meet the needs of the Ashmore community.”

The doctors that will be practising at the medical centre include, Dr Priyal De Silva, Dr Vishu Konda, Dr Ki Pang, Dr Shivani Sathananthan and Dr Bogdan Slawinski.

One of the doctors who relocated their practice to Ashmore, Dr Ki Pang, commented on the move:

“I look forward to continuing to provide care to my existing Gold Coast patients as well as welcome new patients. There is a lot to look forward to at this new location, especially the contemporary environment and being able to refer patients to co-located services available at Our Medical Ashmore.”

No appointment is required to see the bulk billing doctors at Our Medical Ashmore. To support the opening, Our Medical Ashmore is offering free flu shots to all local families and businesses.

Our Medical will support the growing Ashmore population as well as that of the surrounding areas of Molendinar, Southport, Nerang, Carrara, Benowa, Bundall, Arundel, Parkwood, and Gaven.

Part of the City of Gold Coast and 8 km north west of Surfers Paradise, Our Medical Ashmore is easily accessible from Southport Nerang Rd/State Route 20. Our Medical Ashmore offers plenty of on-site parking and is across the road from Ashmore City Shopping.

This new medical centre is located at 566 Olsen Avenue, Ashmore.
