More incentive for GPs to bulk bill.

In November 2025, the Federal Government introduced tripling of the bulk billing incentive for all Australians extending beyond children and pensioners, adding an additional $20.65 (MMM1) for every Medicare bulk billed consult.

In addition, practices that 100% bulk bill patients are now eligible to receive a 12.5% loading on all eligible Medicare rebates through the Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program (BBPIP). This practice incentive is shared evenly between the practice and individual bulk billing GP.
